About the Role:
J and J commercial Services of Tyler and Longview, TX is looking for a driven and experienced Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Operations Manager to lead our growing team in East Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day operations, drive performance, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, installation, and maintenance teams
- Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Monitor job performance, quality control, and customer satisfaction across all commercial accounts
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate HVAC/refrigeration technicians and support staff
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
- Identify opportunities for business growth, process improvements, and service expansion
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and industry best practices
- EPA 608 Certification required; additional certifications (NATE, CMHE) a plus
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled technicians
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with service management software and scheduling platforms preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
