JOB SUMMARY

A Junior Plumber (often an apprentice) assists licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining residential or commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage. Key duties include cutting/threading pipes, assembling fittings, clearing clogs, testing systems for leaks, and maintaining tools, all while learning trade codes under supervision.

JOB DUTIES

System Maintenance & Repair: Identify and locate leaks, repair or replace pipes, and fix plumbing fixtures.
Installation Support: Assist in installing, assembling, and repairing PVC, CPVC, PEX, and copper pipes.
Job Site Preparation: Prepare job sites, carry tools, and clean work areas.
Tool Handling: Use various hand and power tools safely.
Customer Service: Assist with explaining repairs to clients and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Compliance & Safety: Follow all federal, state, and local plumbing codes and safety protocols.
Maintains cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Junior Plumbers are considered training/apprentice level and typically do not operate their own truck
Lead/Master Plumbers are considered senior level and typically operate their own truck

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
