SUMMARY:  
Responsible for providing outstanding support to our valued residential customers through professional communication and collaboration with customers and office personnel, technical delivery of service and sustainability and maintenance of all assigned materials, tools and equipment.   The ideal candidate must possess a high level of attention to detail, ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. A friendly, positive attitude that’s willing to go above and beyond are critical to being successful in this role.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Comply with all local codes using quality materials and never taking shortcuts
  • Master the products, materials, and supplies we provide especially relating to tankless water heaters, water filtration, tank type water heaters and fixture replacement and repairs
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment
  • Convey a safety conscious attitude in regards to yourself, your customers, your fellow employees, and the general public at all times
  • Operate company provided equipment according to the safety guidelines approved by the manufacturer
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with local and state laws and in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of those around you
  • Maintain cleanliness of company truck inside and out
 
Physical requirements:
  • Ability to enter and exit trucks without endangering yourself or others
  • Ability to bend, walk, stand, crawl and climb ladders
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions and observe proper safety precaution
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Must have and maintain a current plumbing license issued by the TSBPE
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check(s)
  • Must have a good driving record and the ability to be insured
Education, Experience, Knowledge:  
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade as a licensed technician
 
WORK HOURS:
Generally an 8 hour workday which may begin at 7:00 or 8:00 am and ends approximately 4:00 or 5:00 pm.  Forty (40) hours per week is the goal.  Overtime may be approved and required to complete all assigned tasks of this position.
 
COMPENSATION:
  • This is a full-time non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime
  • Commission based pay.  Opportunity to earn over $100,000 per year
